Mission Impossible:Fallout Back with It's Latest Mission Should You Choose To Accept It

Good day my friends! What’s this? It’s Thursday and there’s a movie review! Don’t you usually post these on Wednesdays? Bet you were thinking that I forgot about you or wash’t doing one this week! No worries everyone I just decided to do things a bit different this week and throw a little misdirection to keep you in anticipation! The more anticipation, the sweeter the reward! And that’s what we quite often get when it comes to some big anticipated movies, especially the ones we see in the summer when blockbuster season is in full swing! Summer movie season is often full of sequels to some of our favourite movie franchises. The studios tease us with trailers that look so fantastic that they grab our attention in the teaser and than really peak our interest . Than comes the first full trailer that shows us even more and we say” This looks fantastic! I can’t wait to see it!” We are than given one more trailer and in some cases two to build up the interest in the movie and television spots are now running! This is where we are at the point saying “ Doesn’t that movie come out soon?” Than the time comes and we have our tickets bought to the show and talking to our friends asking them if they are seeing it too! Now in most movie trailers you are given all the good parts and the movie is a big yawn, totally not making sense. But it can also do the opposite too! It can be a complete movie, great from beginning to end, where the trailers were there to just wet your appetite. A well put together trailer is just as important as a well put together movie! You see its the trailer that grabs the attention of movie goers and brings them to the theatre. Where am I going with this you ask? Or am I just rambling on and on for filler to make my review longer? Well what you just witnessed is the teaser my friends! The attention grabber and if you have read this far than you fully want to read the rest! Also it leads me to my latest movie review. What movie are we reviewing this week? The answer to that is the latest instalment to the popular action/spy franchise Mission Impossible: Fallout which is the 6th in the series now and show no signs of slowing down! The movie brings back the usual cast members and some new faces as well. Returning for the later go round are of course Tom Cruise(Top Gun) as Ethan Hunt, Ving Rhames(Con Air) as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg(Paul) as Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson(The Greatest Showman) as Ilsa Faust, Michelle Monaghan( Gone Baby Gone) as Julia, Sean Harris(Serena) as Solomon Lane and Alec Baldwin(The Hunt For Red October) as Alan Hunley. New to the series here are Henry Cavill( Man Of Steel) as August Walker, Vanessa Kirby(The Crown) as White Widow and Angela Bassett(What’s Love Got To Do With It) s Erica Sloan. Enough talking here! Lets get to the action and find out just what this movie is about and exactly what i thought about it! It is than we will see if Tom Cruise’s latest mission is a success or failure!

Your mission should you choose to accept it! These are words that agent Ethan Hunt(Cruise) has heard many times over as a member of the IMF. He has saved the world many times from people intent on causing death and destruction on a global scale. But ever since he brought down the Syndicate and captured its leader Solomon Lane(Harris) he has been troubled with nightmares of Lane free and causing a cataclysmic event that Ethan could not stop which would take the lives of tons of innocent people and those he cares about the most. But when the remnants of the syndicate known as The Apostles under the leadership of a mysterious fundamentalist known as John Lark have plans to acquire three plutonium cores  which they plan to use in three separate devices specially built to be tamper proof! It is up to Ethan and his team of Benji Dunn(Pegg) and Luther Stickell(Rhames) to get the cores before Lark and the Apostles get their hands on them. With the cores almost in his possession in Berlin Ethan loses them to the Apostles to save Luther’s life.To get them back Ethan must go to Paris and meet a arms dealer known as the White Widow(Kirby) who is now in possession of them and pose as Lark. With his failure in Berlin the CIA want their own agent to accompany Hunt, that agent being August Walker( Cavill). It is there that they learn that the only way to get the cores is to free Solomon Lane from police custody and exchange him for the cores. In Paris Ethan also crosses paths with MI6 agent Ilsa Faust(Ferguson) who at first is secretive as to why she is there and than tells Ethan that she is there to kill Lane on orders of MI6 to clear her record with British Intelligence. The adventure takes Ethan and his team to London with Lane in tow to acquire the cores who is free’d by the real John Lark and escapes to India with cores and the devices to use them in. Now Ethan, Benji, Luther and Ilsa must find the bombs, find a way to disarm them and stop Lark and Lane before the bombs go off causing a cataclysmic event!

So I gave you a taste, just like a trailer would! How does it sound? Still not sure and you want to know what I thought. Okay! I can do that, besides that’s why I write these reviews and why you are here reading them! Firstly I have to say that it seems that the Mission Impossible movie seem to be getting better as they go on. When I saw the last one which was Rogue Nation, I thought it was really great! But after seeing Fallout last night, I have to say it is the best one in the series. This movie had it all! The script had a complete well rounded story with some more insight into the characters which in previous movies we were only given little bits and pieces. It humanized them more in this movie. It as usual had great action sequences as is come to be expected from this movie franchise with each movie trying to find new stunts to out do the last movies. The helicopter chase scene was fantastic and can now be added to the list of outrageous stunts performed in these movies. The tension build up was perfect leading to the climax of the film and the characters were all perfectly written and performed by the actors. All in all a great movie from beginning to end! And in my personal opinion the best action movie of the summer. It out did itself not just fining us a mindless action movie but a story to go along with all the great action! I Loved this movie!!! this makes me wonder now how they will out do themselves with the next one, can they keep this momentum that has been built and how much more abuse can Tom Cruise put on his body with all the stunts that he performs himself and can he keep going? After all it was during the filming of this movie that he injured his ankle and you can even tell which scene he did it in while watching the movie. Mission Impossible:Fallout gets a 8.8 on the Justin Scale Of Movies which is quite high for an action movie and has now raised the bar for future action movies. It also gets the top spot on my Pick-It List of movies to see at the theatre right now! That’s a wrap here for my latest movie review my friends! As always remember to go out and enjoy the great stories and hard work put in by the people behind the scenes and see a movie in the theatre because the theatre experience is special and in a world of smartphones, tablets, laptops and computerized television I still think it is important to get out and enjoy something as timeless as going to a movie theatre! So save me a good seat and keep that popcorn freshly popped because I will be seeing you at the movies!
