The Terror And Fright Of Annabelle:Creation

Good day my friends. Welcome to another fulfilled work week or if you are like me you are on holidays and are just having a stay cation. But as I look at that clock on the wall and the calendar on my phone I can see that are summer is quickly coming to an end soon! Man that's scary! Isn't it? It just seems the days go by faster and faster leaving you with not much time to do some of the things that we have always wanted to do. That's fear for you though it can grab hold of us and cripple us leaving us unavailable to take chances and have the life we should. No one is a stranger to it! Fear affects us all in some way shape or form. We all feel it and anyone who says they are fearless are full of shit! You see it is a natural emotion and everyone experiences it. It's when we stand up to our fears and achieve our dreams that we are than fearless. So this leads us into our latest movie review the horror prequel Annabelle:Creation. So let us take a look at the latest movie in The Conjuring franchise and see how many times that we jump out of our seats in terror.

When a doll maker(Anthony LaPaglia) and his wife(Miranda Otto) lose their beloved young daughter Annabelle in tragic accident they are so distraught with grief that thinking an evil spirit was their deceased daughter they allow it to possess one of the doll makers dolls. After figuring out that it wasn't their daughter they imprison the evil doll in a closet surrounded by the word of God. Twelve years later the doll maker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home. But the evil that they thought they had contained and was quiet for so many years has re-awoken looking to find a new body to possess in one of the orphans and complete its evil plan.

Well first of all I have to say that not overly being a fan of the horror genre I was impressed by this movie. It delivered a great origin story here which was filled with several terrifying scenes that had you jumping out of your seat. For a horror movie it was pretty good! The acting was convincing, the story was well thought out and original. It didn't lose my attention one bit in the theatre which shows it flowed nicely and kept you entertained. So I am goon to be giving this movie a 7.3 on The Justin Scale Of Movies and put it on my Pick-It list of movies to see at the theatre right now. If your looking for a good old scare than this would be a movie to see. So I guess that is a wrap here my friends on this latest movie review. Until next time keep that popcorn freshly popped and save a good seat and I will see you next time at the movies!
