The Hitmans Bodyguard Protects Us From The Lulls Of August Releases

Hello my friends! Hows it been going with all of you lately? Have you been out and about seeing any of the movies that I have recommended to you at all? Have you had any summer adventures or a perhaps a summer romance? Well I will let you answer those questions if you want to! I know I have a few adventures this summer. Not overly huge ones but still some adventures. And it is important to go out ad have adventures to break out of the lull of everyday life. To try something new, to meet new places and try new things. But the nice things about adventures is that they can happen at anytime, not just in the summer! Sometimes I would just like to get in my car and drive and see where fate takes me. But even when we can't have those adventures we always have the movie to give them to us on the big screen feeding that longing for adventure but still leaving us craving for more. So today we look at the action comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard starring Ryan Reynolds(Deadpool) as Michael Bryce, Samuel L.  Jackson(The Avengers) as Darius Kincaid,  Gary Oldman(Batman Begins) as Vladislav Dukhovich and Salma Hayek(Savages) as Sonia Kincaid. So let us buckle in and hold tight as we watch this action comedy.

Michael Bryce(Reynolds) is one of the top bodyguards in the world with a triple A rating with the motto boring is better. But when one of his clients is assassinated he loses that rating and a lot of his top clients. Still working but with not the same clientele he is called by his ex-girlfriend Amelia Roussel(Elodie Yung) an agent for Interpol to help to protect hit man Darius Kincaid(Jackson).  As they were on their way to the International Court of Justice in the Netherlands so Kincaid could testify against the ruthless former dictator of  Belarus Vladislav Dukhovich(Oldman) when they were ambushed and all the Interpol agents with them were killed  pointing to an inside man in Interpol.
Bryce having disdain for his ex and blaming her for the downfall of his protection business takes the job anyways. Having a past history with Kincaid, Bryce is hesitant at first to take the job but eventually does as this will get his triple A rating back. Soon the two are on their way avoiding assassins sent to kill Kincaid, learning to trust one another as much as they don't want to be around each other as well as finding out that each one of them is more than the other thought they were and make it to the trial on time.

For a late summer release this movie was a nice, fun surprise. Usually at this time of year the big releases are fewer and fewer preparing us for the ones coming in the fall. But this movie I would have to say was fun to watch. It had a nice mix of action and comedy. The story was easy to follow and moved along quite nicely. the almost 2hrs of running time seemed to just fly by. I found the duo of Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson were perfectly suited to one another, they had a great onscreen  chemistry and played well of each other. Once again, like I have seen in a lot of movies this past year this movie also had the nice use of music to boost the scene.I am giving this movie a 7.4 on the Justin Scale Of Movies. This movie did well and was entertaining to the point of making it on my Pick-It List of movies to see in the theatre. And that's a wrap here on my end my friends for this latest movie review.Until next time save me a good seat, keep that popcorn freshly popped and I will see you next time at the movies.
