Hello my friends while looking for some film history to put on here I noticed this interesting fact that I thought was quite something. On this day in both 1965 Sony introduced its first home video recorder at a price of $995 and than 10 years later in 1975 they introduced the Betamax videocassette recorder which in the battle for home video viewing vanished into the night as VHS came out on top as the most dominate before the advent of dvd and blu-ray.
