Return To A Galaxy Far, Far Away With Star Wars The Force Awakens

Good day my friends hope you are doing well! Yes I can hardly believe that December is almost over and it is almost Christmas. But what is even more shocking is that 2015 is almost over. Yes it has been a year of ups and downs. for me especially it has been quite a trying year but I am not going to bore you with my personal life. Nope but life is kind of funny that way you will have one year that is really trying but it is how we handle ourselves through all that which builds character. It is those events that makes us stronger and if we hold on it gives us something great once it is all said and done. If one thing holds true it is that the best things to happen are always worth waiting for. And that can be said for movies especially! Yes if you haven't guessed what movie I am talking about here than you must be living under a rock as it has been all over television and social media building up to its release and after it was released. The movie I am talking about is the new Star Wars movie Star Wars The Force Awakens which blew away the competition at the box office this past weekend and broke several box office records in only a short time. This movie stars break out star Daisy Ridley(Scrawl) as Rey,John Boyega(Attack The Block) as Finn, Oscar Isaac( Ex Machina) as Poe Dameron, Domhnall Gleeson ( Unbroken) as General Hux and Adam Driver ( This Is Where I Leave You) as Kylo Ren. But this latest instalment also brings back some of our fan favourites from the original 3 movies Harrison Ford(Han Solo), Mark Hamill(Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher(Princess Leia),Anthony Daniels(C-3PO), Peter Mayhew(Chewbacca) and Kenny Baker(R2-D2). So let us take a trip back to a galaxy far, far away and see what has been going on there lately.

It has been thirty years since the defeat of the Galactic Empire the galaxy faces a new threat called the First Order. The First Order is made up of the remnants of the old Galactic Empire who are under the command of  Supreme Leader Snoke. His apprentice a powerful , ruthless and mysterious Sith named Kylo Ren(Driver) who is strong with the force commands the First Order for Snoke . He is also on the hunt for Luke Skywalker(Hamill) the last of the Jedi who disappeared some time ago and by killing Luke he stops the Jedi and their ways from being revived letting the First Order rule the galaxy unopposed. But the Resistance especially General Leia Oragana(Fisher) is also looking for Luke as well and may have found a vital clue to his whereabouts on the planet Jakku which is hidden from the First Order in a droid named BB-8 by pilot Poe Dameron(Isaac). The droid is found by a mysterious scavenger Rey(Ridley) who along with a former First Order stormtrooper named Finn(Boyega) joins up with Han Solo(Ford) and Chewbacca(Mayhew) as they take the information that BB-8 holds to the Resistance in hopes it will help find Luke Skywalker before the Kylo Ren and the First Order does.

So I have to say that I really have nothing bad to say about this latest instalment to the Star Wars franchise. I found this movie was filled with both excitement and heart. It perfectly combined aspects of the older movies in to this latest movie and introduced us to some new characters. The movie had a great storyline and was well acted too. This movie was well written and directed and proves itself to be one of the best Star Wars movies to all fans of the franchise. Leaving you with a great sense of nostalgia and anxiously waiting for the next instalment to see what happens. All of this combined gives it a 8.9 on The Justin Scale Of Movies and putting it on my Pick-It List of movies to see in the theatre. In fact you will probably want to see it more than once if you are like me! Well that is a wrap here for this latest review. So until next time my friends Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and as always Good Viewing. I will see all next time at the movies.
