Back For More With Ted 2

Good day my friends and I hope you are having a great start to your summer so far! It is kind of funny you know cause it just seemed like last summer just finished and here we are at another one! Plus it is also the end of the month here and we are about to start the month of July. Ahhh! The summer, so many memories to make and so many memories of summers past. I know I have many great memories of the many great times I have had over the years. You know a good friend of mine sent me a quote about memories and that is the best thing about them is making them.Kind of puts things kind of in perspective cause you can have all the money in the world but you are not truly rich. Because it is the great friends in our lives and the memories that we create that make us rich.It brings us laughter, joy, happiness, sadness and love. It is also what makes us feel alive and human. This kind of makes you think doesn't it? About what makes us, us or in a sense human. Plus it brings us to our latest review for this week Ted 2 the sequel to the hit comedy from 2012. This movie reunites us with the living teddy bear Ted voiced by Seth MacFarlane(Family Guy) and John played by Mark Wahlberg(Boogie Nights, The Italian Job) and brings in Amanda Seyfried( Mean Girls) as Samantha. So let us see if Ted is as magical at the box office again or is he just another one hit wonder.

Ted(MacFarlane) and his girlfriend Tami-Lynn( Jessica Barth) have been married for a year now and are starting to have a few bumps in the road in their marriage. They decide to that they still love each other even though they have been fighting a lot. And make the decision to have a baby. But not being able to have a baby by natural means, they decide to adopt. To which they are denied for the main reason that Ted in the eyes of the government is not human, he is considered property. This starts a chain reaction to which many of the rights Ted once had is now being taken away from him such as his job, credit card, bank account and his marriage to Tami-Lynn being annulled by the state. So in order to get his rights back and his life Ted along with his thunder buddy John(Wahlberg) hire a young lawyer named Samantha(Seyfried) to help Ted prove that he is human.

Well that was just a taste of what this movie is about, but it does sound pretty interesting though. Well you would think that and while it was not a bad movie, it was not a great movie either. It was 115minutes of marijuana and the a lot of the same humour and jokes we saw in the first one. While grant it the story line was interesting of Ted having to prove he was human, and Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane make a pretty decent comedy duo. The movie for the most part was just not overly funny for me and found that it took a little while to get me engaged in this film. Personally I liked the first one but was somewhat disappointed at this one. So it leaves me no choice but to give this movie a 6.4 on The Justin Scale Of Movies and to put it on my Flick-It pile of movies to skip at the theatre. If you want to see this one i would wait till it comes out on DVD or just watch the first one over again. That does it my friends, time to call it a wrap on this latest movie review! Until next time Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and as always Good Viewing. I will see you all again at the movies.
