Larry Daley(Stiller) goes about his job being the night guard at The Natural History Museum in New York while also being the night director at the museum too. But when the magical tablet that brings everything to life starts to corrode making everything that it effects start to lose its magic and eventually die. Promising to find out how to fix this Larry is off to London where Ahkmenrah's father is kept at the British Museum and is the only one who can fix the effects of the tablet. And a few friends have come along for the journey including Teddy(Williams) and Jed(Wilson). But as Larry and his companions search for the answers they seek a whole new adventure begins as the entire British Museum has now come to life for the first time making for an interesting evening. But the tablet continues to corrode and is quickly losing all its magic unless Larry can find the answers he seeks to fix it before it is too late and gone forever taking his friends with it.
So this movie sounds pretty cool, don't you think? Well while there were some inaccuracies with the British Museum, I would know because I was just there this past summer. The movie was fairly good, having a decent story line with a decent way to end this series. Was kind of bitter sweet to see Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney's last movie roles. But Williams put in a fine and memorable final performance. Ben Stiller was decent as usual in his role as Larry Daley. While there was many laughs, there was more heart to this movie. Now it wasn't overly strong but it did flow nice and kept me interested without lagging at all. plus it nicely wrapped up this movie trilogy. Now after seeing thinking about it I am going to give Night At The Museum:Secret of The Tomb a 6.8 on The Justin Scale Of Movies. This just barely puts it into the Pick-It pile of movies to see in the theatre. A pretty decent family movie a final goodbye to the series and two great actors. I guess thats a wrap my friends so as always Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and as always Good Viewing. I will see you all again at the movies and oh yeah Merry Christmas!
