Don't Mess With The Equalizer!

Good day my friends well it seems we have come to the end of September here. So in good fashion I believe it should go out with a bang! And so for this we turn to the movies to help us out with that. Now which movie star would you choose to send this month off right? Well the answer to that question my friends is in this weeks movie review! The movie being The Equalizer which stars Denzel Washington( Man On Fire, Training Day) as Robert McCall, Martin Csokas(XXX) as Teddy and Chloe Grace Moretz( Kick Ass) as Teri. This movie is based on the old television show which ran from 1985-1989 and starred Edward Woodward. This movie is directed by Antoine Fuqua who also directed Washington in Training Day. So let us take a look and see if September went out with a bang or a fizzle!

Robert McCall(Washington) lives a pretty simple and quite life. He goes to work everyday at hardware store and at night he spends in the diner reading and enjoying a cup of tea. It is a life he has worked hard to build and put his mysterious past life behind him. But when he meets a young girl  by the name of Teri( Moretz) who is under the contra of some ruthless ultra-violent Russian mobsters. He decides to to not stand idly by and chooses to help her out and others who are in trouble by using his skills to make things right. But when he eliminates the east coast section of a Russian mob, he draws the attention of a mob enforcer named Teddy(Csokas) who was sent to find and eliminate the person who killed his bosses men. So McCall decides to take them all down so that they are not a threat to anyone anymore.

Well that sounds like one hell of a movie, doesn't it my friends? And believe me when I tell you that it was as good as it sounds and looks by the movie trailers. Denzel was great as usual giving us the awesome performance that only he can give. his character had a good mixture of heart and intensity. I also thought the story was good seemed to flow very well with hardly any slow spots in the movie. All in all a pretty good movie experience, but it does have some graphic violence so this would not be a movie for small children. Now I would have to say that I give this movie a 7. 5 on The Justin Scale Of Movies and make it one of my Pick-It movies to see at the theatre. There you have it my friends I think this movie helped take September out with a Bang! So it is time to call it a wrap on this weeks movie review. Until next time Good mining, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and as always Good Viewing! I will see you all again at the movies.
