Straight Out Of The Silver Linings Playbook

Good day my friends hope you are all doing well, me I'm ok a few bumps and bruises but I will survive. This week i was faced with a decision on what to do when it came to one of my movie reviews , I wasn't entirely sure on what I should see this week. Just like anything in life we are faced with decisions some are easy to make and some are hard and this weeks was an easy one because after seeing the trailer for this weeks movie review I knew I had to see it. So without further ado I shall tell you all the movie I am reviewing this week. You see this week I am reviewing the movie " Silver Linings Playbook" which stars Bradley Cooper ( The Hangover) as Pat , Jennifer Lawrence ( The Hunger Games) as Tiffany, Chris Tucker ( Rush Hour) as Danny and Hollywood legend Robert De Niro( Raging Bull, Casino) as Pat Sr. and is based on the novel by Matthew Quick. Well let us open the playbook and get our strategy figured out for this game to serif we have a winning formula here.

After spending the past 8 months in a state mental institution in Baltimore on a court ordered sentence for assaulting the man his wife was having an affair with, Pat( Cooper) a former teacher who has been diagnosed with having bi-polar disorder has been released. The conditions of his release are that he has see a therapist, take his medication, comply with the restraining order placed upon him and is released into the custody of his parents. While in the institution Pat develops a positive outlook on life and becomes motivated to win back the trust of his estranged wife Nikki even though he has a restraining order put on him to stay away from her. Pat determined to show her he has changed worries his parents who do not want to see him get sent back to the hospital. His father Pat Sr( De Niro) wants to reconnect with him through their common love for the Philadelphia Eagles and also believes him to be good luck charm for the team on game day.Things get more challenging for Pat when he meets Tiffany( Lawrence) the sister of a friends wife who has problems of her own. The two strike up a friendship and Tiffany agrees to give a letter that Pat wrote to his wife Nikki if he dances with her in dance competition. The dancing seems to be a great focus for Pat in healing his mental state and brings the two friends closer together.

Ok sounds like a winning formula to me , now lets pick a few more plays and see what else works. This movie really worked for me it had had a great story  and interesting characters mixed in with some drama,a little lighthearted comedy along with a little bit of romance.Really this movie had heart you felt for the character of Pat and thought wow! that could be someone I might know. This movie was really well put together and I didn't want to miss a minute of it, but unfortunately I did thanks in part of me drinking a large root beer during the show and having to go and use the washroom, lol! But it was one of the better movies I have seen over the past couple of months even though I didn't write a lot of reviews in that time. I will also say this and that is Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence gave superb performances  in this movie and have a great on screen chemistry, they were treat to watch.

So all our strategy seemed to work here that we have picked out now lets give out our final assessment on our game plan. When it comes to this movie I would have to give it a 8.7 on the Justin Scale of movies because this movie was most certainly really well done and extremely well acted. If you haven't seen this movie yet I fully recommend that you do as I enjoyed it and the trailer doesn't lie to you and just show you all the good parts. This movie is one of my Pick-It's that is held in high priority of movies which I really suggest you see.

There you have it my friends another, another review so it is time for me say cut and call it a wrap on this weeks review. But remember as always Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Evening and as always  Good Viewing, I will see you all again at the movies.
