That is quite the cast list well do you have your tickets to the show then lets go because the band is all tuned up , the lights are down and the crowd is ready to rock.

Los Angeles, 1987, a small town girl from Oklahoma named Sherrie Christian ( Hough) has come to LA to pursue her dreams of becoming a rock and roll singer. When her luggage is stolen she meets Drew( Boneta) a bartender at the famous Bourbon Room a big rock and roll nightclub who also has dreams of becoming a singer . After convincing Bourbon Room owner Denis Dupree ( Baldwin) to give her a job as a waitress the two young aspiring singers start to date and fall in love one another. As the two young lovers relationship grows so does trouble for the Bourbon Room as Mayor Mike Whitmore ( Cranston ) and his wife Patricia ( Zeta-Jones) have waged a personal campaign to clean up LA starting with shutting down the Bourbon Room. With the club being two years behind on their taxes Dupree and his assistant Lonny( Brand) know that the only way that the club will be saved is by the money they make on legendary and troubled rock star Stacee Jaxx( Cruise) final performance with the band Arsenal before he embarks on a solo career. After thinking that Sherrie had an affair with Stacee Drew gives the performance of life time and gets a recording contract from Stacee's manager Paul Gill( Giamatti) and convinces Drew to let Sherrie go. With their relationship at an end and their dreams all messed up they must find a way back to each other and their dreams .

Well the band has finished their first set lets get ready to hear some more shall we. First of all I must say as a fan of 80's music and never having seen the actual Broadway musical I rally enjoyed this movie . I found it fun, light hearted and as the song says Nothin But A Good Time at this movie . The characters were all enjoyable to watch , yes even Tom Cruise who I thought didn't do that bad of a job singing he actually sounded pretty decent and Alec Baldwin & Russell Brand's scenes together were hilarious.Loved all the great 80's songs I heard in this movie musical and they were all well done by the actors . Basically this was a really well done movie from director Adam Shankman ( Hairspary) something that if you are a fan of 80's music or grew up in the 80's you will love this movie as the decade of the 1980's was perfectly recreated.

Well the last song has been played so here comes the part that you have been waiting for the rating on the Justin Scale. Now lets get down to it I would have to give this movie a 8.0 on the Justin Scale and make this movie a Pick-It one that most would definitely enjoy seeing a real fun time at the movies. So I  recommend that if you love rock music from the 1980's than you should go and see the movie.

Now that the band has played it's encore the time has come to call it a wrap on this review so as always Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good evening and as always Good Viewing I will see you all again at the movies.
