Well hello again my friends it is time again for another fun filled edition of "Pick-It or Flick-It" and this time I bring you the review of the brand new movie Wrath Of The Titans starring Sam Worthington ( Terminator Salvation) , Ralph Fiennes ( Red Dragon , Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows pt 1&2) , Liam Neeson ( Taken , Batman Begins) and Rosamund Pike ( Die Another Day) in the sequel to the 2010 movie Clash Of The Titans . While living a peaceful life as a fisherman raising his son after the death of his wife IO , the Demi-God Perseus ( Worthington ) is visited by his father the king of the gods Zeus ( Neeson) to ask for his help as the Gods are losing their power from the lack of prayers and faith from humans . As the gods are losing their power the so does their power to keep the creatures imprisoned in Tartarus and the walls are falling which could soon let loose Cronos Zeus ' father who he and his brothers imprisoned in the underworld and could result in the end of the world so Zeus needs Perseus' help to rebuild the walls which he refuses. While going down to Tartarus with his brother Poseidon and son Ares to help his brother Hades ( Fiennes) rebuild the walls of underworld in order to keep their father imprisoned it is soon discovered that Hades and Ares have aligned themselves with Cronos and they capture Zeus so Cronos can syphon of his remaining powers in order to rise again. So Perseus is forced to take action after learning of his father being imprisoned and searches out to find the Queen Andromeda (Pike ) who can help him find his cousin Agenor the son of Poseidon the only person who can help them find the fallen God Hephaestus the only one who can get them into Tartarus to rescue Zeus as he was the one who built it. First of all I would just like to say that this movie was better than the first for the fact that it showcased more creatures from Greek Mythology such as the Minotaur , Chimera and of course an actual Titan Cronos . While I did enjoy the story and the special effects which were quite awesome the movie seemed a bit rushed to me and could have used more substance and maybe a few more of the Greek gods in it and more of a story. The movie did boast some pretty good actors in this movie but could have done a little more to showcase their talents some more . Don't get me wrong I did enjoy this movie it did have a decent plot decent action in it and some good special effects but it just need that little bit extra to push it over the top to make it great. All in all I would have to give this movie a 6 on the Justin Scale of Movies as it was good but not great with the plain and simple facts that I listed above and I would have to say to Flick this one even though it did have it's good parts it just was a bit to rushed of a story to me and could have used more and I would wait to see it on DVD. There you have it another week , another review in the books so as always Good Morning , Good Afternoon , Good Evening and as always Good Viewing , that's a wrap I will see you all again at the movies.
