Good day my friends recently I went and saw the new movie starring Sam Worthington called "Man On A Ledge", the movie is more than just what you think the title has two meanings in a film about a cop need Nick Cassidy who after being wrongly imprisoned for stealing a $40 million dollar diamond from a crooked business man named David Englander played by veteran actor Ed Harris breaks out of prison and sets out to prove his innocence. Nick sets a plan in motion to prove that the diamond is still in Englander's possession by stepping out onto the ledge of a hotel owned by David Englander which also happens to be right beside the office building owned by the same businessman where the personal vault is and also where Nick believes the diamond is still stored . With everyone watching on the street below and the police trying to get him off the ledge Nick asks for police psychologist Lydia Mercer to come down and try and talk him down off the ledge and to listen to his side of the story while all the while his brother and brothers girlfriend are breaking into the vault of the building next door in order to help prove Nick's innocence . This movie was both interesting and intriguing , the story idea was original but with the usual message of who can you really trust and how far would you go to prove your innocence . The characters were believable in the sense of what would a desperate person do to prove their point, the only problem I had was with the villain character of David Englander he seemed more like weasel than a criminal mastermind but the character was effective in proving it's worth in the film. So needless to say I did enjoy this film and would give it a 6.5 on the Justin Scale for it's originality and collection of flawed characters but the movie could have used a little more detail . But if you are looking for something a little different with some suspense I would say " Pick-It" When it comes to my choice of " Pick-It Or Flick-It" because overall it was an enjoyable movie to watch. So as always my friends that is a wrap and now i say to you Good Morning , Good Afternoon , Good Evening and as always Good Viewing I will see all again at the movies.
There is a lot to be entertained by here but there is also way too much that we can’t actually take seriously and it actually ends up being more of just a silly thriller that has a good cast, that doesn’t really do much. Good review. Check out mine when you can.
