Immortals lives to make history

Hi there my friends tonight I saw the period fantasy piece "Immortals" a visually stunning movie about a peasant named Theseus(Henry Cavill The Tudors and upcoming Superman reboot Man Of Steel)who is chosen by the Greek god Zeus(Luke Evans) to save mankind from the evil Heraculan king Hyperion(Mickey Rourke The Wrestler, Ironman 2) who is searching for the Epirus bow a powerful weapon lost by the Gods in their battle with the Titans. Searching across Greece for the bow with his army of disfigured soldiers Hyperion leaves a trail of blood and carnage which leads him to the virgin oracle Phaedra (Frida Pinto Slumdog Millionaire , Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes) who he wants to tell him where the bow is so he can use it to free the Titans which are imprisoned in Mount Tartaros so that they would destroy the Gods and he can rule the earth. This movies visually stunning special effects and battle scenes go well with storyline a movie that filmed in the same style as another period piece "300"which was also impressive. The Gods made to have similarities with mortals made this movie interesting to watch because otherwise you could say " I have seen this done before " but this movie is done really well and I give it a 8 on" The Justin Scale "for it's originality, special effects and battle scenes but take in mind this movie was rated 18A a movie not for kids if you intend to see it. I put in in my "Pick-It" pile when it comes to "Pick-It Or Flick-It" , so there you have it my review of the Tarsem Singh directed movie "Immortals" as always  GoodMorning , Good Afternoon , Good Evening and Good Viewing I will see you all again at the    movies .
